There are 4 key components that go into every air quality system developed by AspenAir:
For
the first time a cost-effective, High-Power, Installer-friendly,
Consumer-compatible, separation and collection of 99% of RSPs from the
air stream is possible. AspenAir Inside engineers went to the heart of
the problem and spent the past 5 years developing and perfecting the
technology solution and creating a breakthrough Electronic Air Cleaner
system of products. The AspenAir Bi-Polar EAC follows the most desired
and most recommended strategy for effectively removing these invisible
particles from the air: Utilize an in-duct EAC to clean 100% of the air
within the whole-house.
The Power Supply:
The heart of all Bi-Polar-EAC products. It is a UL recognized
component, compact, fully encapsulated and extremely powerful. Our
power supply uses less than 2 watts of power making it very cost
effective over the life of the product.
The Power Grids:
Non-metallic and permanently coated with MACON-D™. These grids allow
for very high connectivity with no capacitance build up and no
shocking. It's non-corrosive and eliminates sparking & arcing. Best
of all, there will be no silicon dioxide deposits or harmful ozone
production.
The Insulated & Isolated Ion Chamber:
A fully enclosed electronic Bi-Polar closed electrostatic loop. The
full power of 24,000 volts (-/+) is concentrated only on the airflow,
separating toxic particles from the air stream. As sub-micron particles
precipitate onto the disposable collecting media, the smaller particles
combine to form larger particles. The now larger particles are trapped
in the collector media and attract even more smaller particles to
increase efficiency over time.
The Non-conductive, Disposable Filter/Collection Media:
Almost instantly replaceable, the 2" or 3" thick media has a 20x
greater collecting surface than metal cell collectors. Our standard
material is fiberglass or polyester.
