ASPENAIR INKS DEAL WITH MAJOR WEST COAST DISTRIBUTOR
68 year-old company with 31 branches across four western states agrees to distribute filter grille product
Martinez, California-based AspenAir is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with Elk Grove, California-based Slakey Brothers to distribute its line of Filter Grille whole-house air purification systems.
Made of lightweight, durable plastic, AspenAir’s FILTER GRILLE line of products is currently built in twenty- one sizes. They weigh approximately 10 pounds, come standard with 24VAC power supplies, and consume less than 2 watts of power. Installation is a snap taking less than an hour to accomplish and maintenance consists of replacing the disposable media every six months to a year. AspenAir is also pursuing a washable, replaceable media for customers who prefer this option.
AspenAir has seen a recent spike in demand in its products as a result of the recent problems encountered by competitors whose products utilize the outdated metal wire and plate technology. One major competitor’s products were recently recalled due to concerns over heavy sparking, arcing, and fire risks. This was the second major recall of metal wire and plate constructed products since 2005.
AspenAir’s filter grille and furnace mounts products are specifically designed to eliminate the risks and hazards associated with these conventional electronic air cleaners. AspenAir’s systems generate 24,000 volts of cleaning power through its plastic power grids which have been coated in a proprietary material. The products are safe, quiet, devoid of sparking, arcing, harmful ozone production, and highly effective at removing dangerous particulate matter from the indoor air, capturing 99% of particles down to .01 microns.
In addition to their breakthrough FILTER GRILLE product line, AspenAir’s furnace mount products are built in eight (8) sizes and retrofit a wide variety of competitor’s media and Electronic Air Cleaner housings. AspenAir High Efficiency Electronic Air Cleaners are expected to be the product of choice on new HVAC system sales made by contractors who simply need or prefer a furnace mount option when space is limited.
AspenAir continues to pursue distribution relationships to take its products into a dealer network that has been seeking a simple, affordable solution to the growing demand for high-efficiency indoor air filtration, and welcomes inquiries from all interested parties.
