ASPENAIR MEETS SPIKE IN DEMAND DUE TO CALIFORNIA GRASS FIRES
Whole-house systems prove highly effective at removing noxious smoke from indoor air

Martinez California-based AspenAir announced that it’s increasing production of its whole-house air filtration systems to meet rising customer demand resulting from the 1,400+ fires that have made much of the air in California, Nevada, and Arizona unhealthy.

This comes at the start of the fire season and several days after local, state, and national agencies issued repeated warnings to sensitive individuals including children, the elderly and people with respiratory problems to limit outdoor exercise or exertion. Unfortunately, these and other individuals suffering from asthma, allergies, and other health ailments may also be adversely affected by smoke particulates that infiltrate the indoor air.

AspenAir’s whole house systems effectively remove unhealthy airborne particulates from indoor air, including smoke from grass and brush fires, making it “better than fresh air”.

AspenAir recently subjected its system to a rigorous smoke chamber test. A large plastic chamber was filled with smoke derived from hickory, hemp, paper and tobacco. Once AspenAir’s system was activated the chamber was smoke-free in 65 seconds!

The following testimonial from Jerry Gladstone typifies the health benefits and relief AspenAir’s customers are enjoying during the fire season:

“I just wanted to let you know how effective the AspenAir system is at removing smoke from the air. A few nights ago we were sleeping with the windows open and the air system off. In the middle of the night I woke up smelling smoke (from what I later learned was the fire east of Napa) and getting congested from it. I closed all the windows and turned on the system fan to circulate the air through the AspenAir filter. Wow, in an hour or so the air in the house was clean and fresh. Needless to say, I continue to circulate the interior air through the filter as smoke from the fire drifts our way. Thanks again for a great filter”.

AspenAir’s systems are laboratory proven to remove 99% of airborne particulates as small as 0.1 microns in diameter, resulting in a MERV-16 equivalency rating. AspenAir’s FILTER GRILLE products are built in twenty-one sizes and consume less than two watts of electricity. They install in under an hour, use low voltage wiring and maintenance consists of replacing the disposable collection media once or twice a year.

AspenAir’s systems are distributed in California and Northern Nevada by Slakey Brothers of Elk Grove, California, and in Arizona and Southern Nevada by Sigler Wholesale Distributing of Phoenix, Arizona, and are installed by HVAC contractors.
