ASPENAIR WINNING BATTLE AGAINST ALLERGIES CAUSED BY BAD INDOOR AIR
Test Data Confirms That AspenAir’s Systems Remove 99%+ of Health Damaging RSPs
Affordable, effective relief to sufferers of allergies resulting from Respirable Suspended Particles (RSP) will soon be available to residential and business customers from Martinez California-based AspenAir.
The company recently introduced its new offerings of whole house electronic air purification systems at the AHR Expo, the world’s largest international trade show and convention for the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Industry held in Dallas, Texas on January 29-31.
Attendees were impressed with the test data conducted by IBR Labs; an independent Michigan based testing facility specializing in testing products targeted for the rapidly expanding market segment known as lndoor Air Quality (IAQ). Data showed that AspenAir’s products effectively removed 99.6%+ of air particles ranging in size from .1 microns and above. These specific sizes were tested because the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has determined that these sizes pose the greatest health risk to people, particularly the very young and the elderly. These particles remain suspended in the air. They are breathed in, and don’t come out, ultimately leading to allergies, asthma, and other forms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Test results further revealed that these systems were effectively removing particles as small as .04 microns. Further tests are planned to confirm the product’s effectiveness removing these sub-micronic particles.
AspenAir’s filter grille product drew the most attention. Most existing HVAC systems will not accommodate any sort of electronic air cleaning system due to space limitations. Homeowners and business owners who wanted this level of air cleaning capability were forced to either install a new HVAC system, or do without. That is no longer the case. AspenAir’s filter grille product can be installed in any cold air return housing, typically located on interior ceilings or walls. This opens up a huge market as allergy sufferers can now enjoy the benefits of state-of-the-art air cleaning technology in their homes without having to install a completely new HVAC system. And all of AspenAir’s products run on 24VAC power supplies and consume less than 1.5 watts of power, a point that didn’t miss the scrutiny of contractors serving the rapidly growing “Green” building segment.
For those homeowners and business owners who planning to install a new HVAC system, or who may wish to replace an existing media or electronic system, AspenAir has an impressive furnace mount product which will retrofit virtually any furnace mount housing. Like its filter grille companion, it is built of space-age non-metallic materials, it’s less than 5 inches wide and weighs less than 10 pounds, it is easy to install, maintain, and its installed cost is nearly half as expensive as most competitor’s products. Maintenance consists of removing and replacing a simple, inexpensive fiberglass collection media (which AspenAir provides) every six months to a year.
AspenAir now faces the challenge of identifying distributors to provide products to HVAC Contractors anxious to provide their products to their allergy-suffering customers.
