I love where we live but we have a definite air quality problem here in the San Joaquin Valley.  I wanted our home to be a safe haven with clean air to breathe, particularly on any really bad days, as well as every day.  What we read of AspenAir filter seemed to fill the bill so we decided to have one installed. We installed a filter grille unit. The installation was a one call job and up and ready right away. Once the unit was installed I noticed a cleaner smell of the air right away. Cooking odors disappeared very rapidly.  When we have been gone for some time, it’s a pleasure enter a house that smells fresh and clean. I can now breathe on both sides of my nose. Neither my husband nor I have had any major sinus infections since it was installed. I just love not being reminded over and over what we had for dinner!  We have the great room concept in our home and kitchen odors often used to overtake the whole house. The HVAC system doesn’t seem to go on and off as much to maintain a steady temperature.  In fact, I am rarely aware of any mechanism at work at all. The only sounds we hear are that of the HVAC system going on and off so as to maintain the steady temperature. Anything we can do to improve our quality of life and health is important in this day and age of pollutants everywhere.  I would recommend that everyone consider enhancing their health with AspenAir Inside.  Since we can’t all live in fresh mountain air, we can make an effort to purify the air we breathe inside our four walls. We’re completely satisfied and wish we had done it sooner.

We recently installed a new furnace and air conditioning system with an AspenAir electronic air cleaner.  We are extremely pleased with the efficiency of this system.  My wife is an allergy sufferer and has noticed a significant improvement since the installation of the AspenAir system.  We have also noticed a decrease in household dust accumulation.  This is a great system and we highly recommend it to others.

I just wanted you to know that your filter really works. I noticed the difference immediately. My husband suffers terribly from allergies. He’s allergic to oak trees, olive trees, and all wild yellow flowers, such as mustard greens. He frequently opens the windows at night because he says he has to have his fresh air, so, you can imagine what’s going on with his allergies. He’s constantly congested, blowing his nose, snoring, using nasal sprays and inhalers. He’s had allergy shots, the whole nine yards. Needless to say, this has been going on a long time, and I just learned to live with it. In addition to this, we have a big dog living in our home and she leaves hair, dander and her special “scent” everywhere, which is a constant irritant to both of us. But we both love her and the dog stays. We had your system installed in our home a few months ago, and the change has been enormous. No more snoring. Gone. He’s sleeping like a baby and so am I. His allergy symptons have lessened, and he’s not using his inhaler or nasal spray as often. In fact, I cannot remember the last time he used them. I notice that there are no odors in the air. Your system really gobbles up the odors. . Even the dog odors are gone. I’m impressed. I’ve also noticed that I am not dusting as often, which is great for me.  This is a great system. I was barbequing some salmon for a large group of friends and family one sunny day. As we had all the windows open at the time the fishy smoke and odor blew into my house, which caused it to smell something awful. Afer closing the windows I ran our AspenAir air cleaner and the smell was gone within minutes!  Everyone was impressed. Great job AspenAir!

We are very pleased with our new AspenAir filter in our home. I suffer from allergies that regularly put me out of circulation or even sick in bed. I was using electronic air filters thinking they were the most effective protection from the allergens. I did not know they are very inefficient at cleaning the air in my home. When I saw the Aspen Air I could easily understand the increased efficiency provided. I am also very pleased they are much easier to maintain than anything I have had before.

I have been running the blower fans 24 hours a day since installation last month because now I am convinced I am finally getting healthy air in my home. My proof that it is working is that I breathe much more comfortably while sleeping, including when I wake up in the morning, I no longer have annoying allergy symptoms. Boy do I feel great about that. We live in a rural setting, and recently suffered a house filled with the annoying smell of a skunk who was announcing his presence close by.  I was ready to go outside to ask him to leave but our AspenAir filters removed the smell within 10 minutes, maybe closer to 5. We installed a new furnace and with that, we included the Furnace Mount ASPENAIR filter system. The system worked well and efficiently as noted by the amount of dust it collected on the collecting media. Also as time went on, the fine dust level in the home diminished greatly. One additional notation to the reduction in dust accumulation was that the return air duct leading to the ASPENAIR filter, stayed cleaner and did not require wiping down of the surfaces during normal filter media maintenance.
Thus we feel very happy to have installed this unit. It keeps us with clean and dust-free air in the house.

We’ve been using an AspenAir furnace mount filtration system for some time in our San Rafael house. I am thoroughly pleased with its performance. I change the filter media regularly, and am always impressed with the amount of material that has been filtered out of our air and left on the filter. This is particularly remarkable given that we live upwind of most urban pollutants, do not smoke or use the fireplace, etc. I would not want to be without this air filtration system, and would recommend it to friends.

Just wanted to let you know how effective the AspenAir is at removing smoke from the air. A few nights ago we were sleeping with the windows open and the air system off. In the middle of the night I woke up smelling smoke (from what I later learned was the fire east of Napa) and getting congested from it. I closed all the windows and turned on the system fan to circulate the air through the AspenAir filter. Wow, in an hour or so the air in the house was clean and fresh. Needless to say, I continue to circulate the interior air through the filter as smoke from the fire drifts our way. Thanks again for a great filter.

As an allergy sufferer and former semiconductor clean room engineer, I know the value of really clean air. After installing the AspenAir filter the air in my home became noticeably cleaner – the air felt almost as fresh and crisp as being in a clean room; my allergies have all but disappeared. Though I have tried all types of filters, none has performed as well as the AspenAir.

According to Dean Ongaro, vice president and co-owner of HVAC installers Ongaro & Sons and Crane & Sons, environmental consultants have counseled his company to remove metal plate systems, since they’re likely to exacerbate poor air quality by producing ozone, an irritant.

“We’ve been thirsting for a system like AspenAir’s that collects dirt on a throwaway media. There’s really nothing out there. Also, the industry is primed for an add-on that plugs into the HVAC system,” said Mr. Ongaro, whose company installs 400-500 heating and air conditioning systems a year. “We’re ready to carry it.”

The lack of standards and regulations plagues the electronic home air filtering industry, making it difficult to compare products, according to Richard Conrad of Sunwrights Heating & Cooling.

“People tend to believe in products they pay for, but are they really effective? My first indication that electrostatic systems work is when I beta tested the AspenAir product in a few homes of asthma sufferers. It wasn’t until we’d experienced some breakdowns that the products proved themselves, because customers would call me immediately and say something was wrong,” said Mr. Conrad.

“I’ve also come to appreciate the flexibility of the AspenAir product. It can be configured to a lot of HVAC systems, and it’s forgiving of the user. Unlike metal technology, the filters are changed once a year, and there are no wires to corrode.”

Thank you for the filter media – it arrived yesterday and I installed it immediately. I am looking forward to cleaner air in my house again.
Observation: The used filter was BLACK! I have saved it for you for any analysis you might want to perform. Though I am embarrassed on how dirty my house seems to be, I will either hold it for you or mail it back to you. I noted that in all the years I have been in this house, and all the conventional and electret filters I have used, I have never had one come back black. The conventional filters are always gray when dirty – never black. I am assuming that the AspenAir is capturing the very small particle which will surely appear black to the unaided eye. These filters really work! Congratulations on your breakthrough product! By the way, I could tell it was time to replace the filter media as the air was just not fresh any longer and I could hear the air “struggling” to get through the clogged filter.

Our 30 year old plus home is much like a mountain cabin probably not more than 1,500 sq.ft.. The AspenAir system “was an urgent neccessity” for my wife who simply could not occupy the home without it. We knew we needed our media replaced as my wife was feeling ill again.

Just to give you a follow up. Results were nothing short of spectacular! Air quality excellent and I am sleeping/breathing normally. I think we made the right decision. Thank you for taking ownership on this, and having the job done well and on time. Most appreciated.
